I'm a journalist and comedy writer based in New York City. According to Bill O'Reilly, I write for morons.
I'm a senior reporter at Jezebel and co-host of Jezebel's former politics podcast, Big Time Dicks. My bylines have appeared in Cosmopolitan.com, Salon, HelloGiggles, IndieWire, Gawker, ANIMALNewYork, Someecards, and CollegeHumor, where I've written about race, culture, politics, and feminism. I covered the 2016 election for Cosmo, during which I interviewed Ivanka Trump on her paid leave policy proposal (Donald Trump called me "non-intelligent" in response), interviewed former First Lady Michelle Obama on her first solo trip to the Middle East, and traveled to Jordan to report on the refugee crisis.
My work has been covered by outlets like the Columbia Journalism Review, Vox.com, Adweek, and featured in a Channel 4 Documentary. In October 2017, I hosted the New York Immigration Coalition's 30th Anniversary Gala honoring former US Attorney Preet Bharara and UNITE HERE's Maria Elena Durazo.
Prior to embarking on a writing career, I worked at a management consulting firm. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 with degrees in finance and English writing.
My hobbies include running, painting and looking up movie references because I never, ever remember them.
